Getting Ready For Autumn

Finally, Autumn is around the corner and I can start transitioning my wardrobe into more reds, mustards, oranges and heavy knits. There is just something about the weather getting crisper and colder that excites me. I particularly love fashion a lot more at this time of year rather than summer. I love the idea of being snuggled up in my oversized knitted jumpers drinking hot chocolate on a Winter walk.

Something I have particularly been loving while transitioning into Autumn from Summer is dresses. This style of dress is something I never go for, I have been looking for this style of dress for a while now but I regularly found they were all very floral, which isn't something that appealed to me. This polka dot frill dress is available in a range of different colours however, I was particular drawn to it because of the colour mustard. This dress is only £15.00 from Misguided click here to check it out.

I paired this frill dress with my new Topshop grey buckle boots click here for a similar version. I picked these up in the sale and they're actually last years boots. However, Topshop have brought out a new version this year and they're a lot cheaper!

I also love throwing on an oversized jumper when it gets a little bit colder. This jumper is from Zara click here to check it out. Another alternative I would wear with this dress is a denim jacket. I love the look of this dress with denim. I would also change my grey buckle boots to my Topshop 'May' boots for a more dressy look.

Thank you for reading, Hannah x

  1. We love wearing dresses in fall, especially mustard colored ones! Plus, who doesn't love an oversized knitty jumper! Love this outfit!
