August 2017- Purchases Of The Month

We are already at the end of August about to step into Septemebr which I am so excited about! September is an exciting month, I can' wait for the weather to get colder and for it to start feeling cosy again not to mention the layering of jumpers and bright reds and mustard colours.
This month I have tried my very best to budget as much as I can. However, like every month I end up with a rail in my bedroom usually at least half full with new clothes. I decided again this month to put a collection of what I bought together. I have featured a lot of these items in blog posts throughout this month I will link them below the item if you missed it.

Slingback heels- Topshop
An excellent item to transition from Summer to Autumn with is slingback heels. I thought these would be an excellent addition to my wardrobe to pair with jeans and trousers. A blog post will be coming very soon on how I style slingback heels, in the mean time click here to shop these shoes.

I managed to pick up this amazing striped shirt from Topshop in the sale for £15.00 (available here for only £10.00 ) Luckily working at Topshop I always get first grabs of excellent bargains, I especially love the bell sleeves on this shirt. If you would like to see how I styled this striped shirt click this link here.

Mules - Primark (only available in store)
Another transitional item I purchased for this year are these mules. I have spent all summer looking for the perfect pair which firstly fitted, were comfortable and a suitable size heal. Of all places Primark was the winner. Again these are perfect for Autumn and Winter when I am wanting to dress up a look or even pair with my favourite oversized coat and jeans.

If you read my blog post of statement tee's earlier this month you will know how obsessed I am with T-shirts now. I managed to also pick this top up from Topshop in the sale for £8.00. Recently I've really liked dressing more casual and pairing a classic t-shirt with jeans and sliders. The top reads 'Save The Future' you can check out a full version of this top here.

To go alongside my statement tee I purchased this 'paper bag' skirt. I was so happy this went in the sale as I had my eye on it for ages. Again I like how causal you can wear this, paired with a t-shirt and high top trainers is a perfect combination for a smart casual look. If you would like to see how I have styled this skirt check out this blog post here.

If you read my favourite designer dupes post you will have already seen this bag and I am sure you will have already fallen in love with it. This is such an amazing dupe for Gucci, replicating the iconic bee. This was a bargain of £9.00. If you would like to see this bag styled click here.

If you are obsessed with Instagram as much as me I have sure you're well aware of the famous Gucci belt if you do not know what I am talking about however, check out this blog post here. I got this amazing dupe from H&M for £4.99. I got this belt in a size M which is unfortunately too big so I had to do a bit of DIY'ing. If you're size 8-10 I would recommend getting a size S. This belt is regularly sold out but if you're trying to get your hands on a look a like check out River Island as they also brought out an amazing dupe.

This month I also picked up these gorgeous sunglasses from Coconut Lane. These are £16.00 and such amazing quality, they also come with a marble case which of course, I love. I am so excited to wear these in paris and feature them in future posts while we transition into Autumn. Click here to shop these sunglasses, you can also use 'HANNAH20' for 20% off the whole store.

Boots- Topshop
Every Autumn/ Winter I indulge into a new pair of winter boots. Last year I chose high thigh boots so this year I decided to choose a practical short black boot. These will be excellent when the weather starts to get a lot colder and I want to make an outfit still look dressed up. You can click this link here to shop direct.

Thanks for reading, Hannah x
